Respect Life Ministry Father of the Year Award Essay Contest
Father of the Year 200-word essay contest. Let’s recognize our fathers, for their generosity, sacrifices, and love for their families! We begin with our first Respect Life essay contest of selecting one “father” to hold the reign for a year.
First prize essay winning “father” will receive a Father of the Year plaque, $150 gift certificate to Finney’s Crafthouse in Orange, and a blessed Roman Catholic bible.
The contest begins on April 20, and ends May 31, 2024, at 5:00 PM.
Drop off an entry, clearly marked “Attn. Respect Life Father’s Day Essay Entry”, in an envelope in the parish drop box.
Please ensure your e-mail/drop in entry, includes your name and telephone number.
The Respect Life Ministry members will review all entries and will contact the winner on June 5, 2024.
On Sunday, June 16 at 10:00am Mass, we will present the essay winning Father of the Year!

No Cost to enter.
A 200-word essay on why your father, grandfather, uncle, brother, or friend, should be the Father of the Year for San Antonio de Padua Catholic Church.
Essay must include contestant name and contact phone number.
Contestants do not need to be a member of San Antonio de Padua Church Catholic Church.
The Respect Life Ministry will review all essay entries and select a winner.
Winners must be present to receive recognition of the award and prizes on 6/16, 10am mass.
The winning contestants agree to place their essay on the Respect Life website for viewing. A photo of the winner will be placed in the San Antonio de Padua Catholic Church’s bulletin in the Respect Life Corner.
Entry must be the original work of the contestant, may not have been previously published, may not have won previous awards, must not infringe upon the copyrights, trademarks, rights of privacy, publicity or other intellectual property or other rights of any person and must not violate any law.
