Mission Statement
The mission of the Filipino Ministry is to support and serve our parish, promote and foster our Filipino cultural heritage in unity and fellowship with one another, and grow in our love for God and in service to our community.
Vision
The vision of the Filipino Ministry is to be a positive and productive presence in our parish by:
- participate in the ministry work and evangelization efforts of our parish
- demonstrate pride in our cultural values and religious traditions
- practice stewardship of our gifts of time, talent, and treasure.
Objectives
- To encourage our members to more actively participate in the various ministries at San Antonio Church, such as but not limited to, Hospitality, Lector, Choir, Extraordinary Ministers of Communion, Parish Council, Parish Fiesta, and Evangelization.
- To call together our church community to religious and social events in the parish honoring Filipino cultural traditions, such as Simbang Gabi, Santo Nino celebration, family rosary crusades, and devotion to our Blessed Mother.
- To promote vocations to the priesthood, diaconate, and religious life as well as the formation of lay leaders in various church-mandated organizations like the Cursillo, Respect Life Ministries, Knights of Columbus, Bible Study Groups, Catholic Youth Movements, etc.
- To support parish clergy.
