San Antonio Church Vacation Bible School

Online Vacation Bible School 2020 - Hope Isn't Canceled - Jesus's Power Pulls Through!!

Summer Greetings, VBS Parents!
HOPE ISN’T CANCELED! It’s everlasting…full steam ahead!
We are so excited to share that Rocky Railway VBS will be “steaming” into San Antonio Church July 27 – 31! While this won’t look like the same in-person VBS you are used to, it will be packed full of uplifting music, sciencey-fun gizmos, living bible stories, and those adorable Bible Buddies!
Registration is NOW OPEN and we would be thrilled to have your children join us for this incredible virtual VBS adventure! Campers entering grades K through 6th are invited to join in the fun! For those families with pre-school aged children, you are welcome to register your younger kiddos if you believe they are able to participate.

To register, please complete and sign the attached registration form and deliver it to the Religious Education office along with the $20 fee (per child) NO LATER than Friday, July 17.

Please note that we are only able to accommodate 100 campers. Spaces are reserved once a completed registration form and payment have been received by the Religious Education Office. We kindly ask for payment via cash or check only. Below are some FAQ’s to help prepare your family for this week of fun!
When and where will Rocky Railway be held?
Camp will be held daily via Zoom during the week of July 27 through 31 from 10:00 am to 11:15 am. Prior to the start of camp, parents will be emailed the invite to join the Zoom meetings. Please be sure to provide us with your best email address.
What does my $20 fee per child include?
Each camper will be given a personalized bag containing all their camp goodies for the week! This includes Rocky Railway music download card (1 per family), Imagination Station sciencey- fun gizmos, sidewalk chalk, Bible Buddies with carabiner, Rocky Railway button, and a Tracking with Jesus Bible Book!
How do I get my child’s camp goodies?
Camp goodies can be picked up from the Religious Education Office the week prior to camp, July 21-23. We will send out an email to all registered campers with exact dates and times.
What can I do from home to add to the fun?
We invite parents to participate in camp each day if their time permits. You can form your own “crews” at home with your kids or with other friends/family members should you feel comfortable with that. We encourage parents to email in photographs of their children singing, dancing, and taking part in camp activities! At the end of the week, we will compile the photographs into a slide-show to show the kids and will also post photos to San Antonio social media pages so our Parish community can experience the fun too!
We are so thrilled to offer this opportunity for virtual camp to our Parish families and community! Our team has been hard at work planning a special and engaging week where we will share the message that Jesus’ Power Pulls Us Through!
