Ordained in 1979
Deacon Doug was ordained on May 12, 1979 for the Diocese of Orange and has been assigned to our parish ever since. As Deacon he has baptized over 1,200 children, witnessed over 200 marriages, directed our RCIA program, Confirmation program, and our Eucharistic Ministers. He founded and has helped run the Family Assistance program here at San Antonio Church since 1986. In September 2005 Deacon Doug was named as the Executive Director of the Orange County Cursillo. He has served on the Religious Education Board from 1980-1985 as well as the Diaconate Board from 1990–1999. He was Associate Director for the Deacons from 2001–July 2004 and served as the Chairman of the Deacon Personnel Board from 2001-2006. He also served as Master of Ceremony for Most Reverend Dominic Luong for Confirmations from 2004-2007.
